I fit pretty well in my social life, I do have many friends that know my hearing problem and they understand... My social life is normal I guess but my romantic life is a mess I can´t get a single girl to look past my hearing problem, almost to the point of giving up on relationships ;(

I'm "legally deaf" (60%hearing loss in my left ear and 80%loss in my right). I've never had too much problem though. Y family is all hearing, most of my friends at school are. I just have to focus, and most the people I hang out with know to tap my shoulder or somethig before they start talking so I can read lips. It's almost like the hearing people in my life have to adjust more than I do.
